They are miniature poodles, their mum is at the small end of miniature at 9 pounds and their dad is bigger at 12 pounds.

We are raising healthy, happy Apricot miniature poodles in Grand Forks, BC. We have always loved poodles for their friendly natures. They have non-shedding coats, are hypo-allergenic and very intelligent. Miniature poodles are sturdy little dogs and make perfect companions. Our dogs are small enough to sit on a lap but sturdy enough to be a great family companion.

Our poodle parents, Dundee and Sophie, have both had all of the genetic testing done to make sure they are passing on only the best miniature poodle characteristics and health. They are CKC registered as are all their puppies. We send all our puppies to their new homes with age appropriate shots and a health certificate from our veterinarian. 

Sophie is as small as you can be and not be a toy poodle but she has the calm and confident nature of the miniature. We were so happy when Sophia come to us from Lezerin Kennel in Saskatchewan. Sophia is loving and friendly. She is eight pounds and twelve inches at the shoulder. She loves playing with the children that come to our house for music lessons and is just as happy to make new friends when she visits our local Seniors home. 

Dundee is twelve pounds and although a small miniature he is a sturdy fellow. Dundee is a quiet guy, always ready to have his tummy rubbed but more laid back and easy going than the average miniature poodle. When people come to visit out dogs Dundee is often the favorite because he is happy to curl up on anybody's knee. He is also full of personality and is happy to run all day. Dundee particularly enjoys camping trips.

All of us have had bad hair days but rarely has any group been as maligned about their coiffure as the poodle. Although both Dundee and Sophie are from show stock we don't take our dogs out to shows and so are able to have them groomed as we choose. As you can see Dundee looks very sporty is in masculine "teddy bear' clip.
